How to Use Snipping Tool to Take a Screenshot on Windows? An Easy and Useful Guide
Occasionally, you’ll need to take a screenshot to copy text or images from the entire or a portion of your PC screen. You can quickly take notes or make changes using the capture tool, then save and share them.
Windows 10 also includes a screenshot application that you should check out. When the capture tool is opened, an invitation and a keyboard shortcut for Sketch and Snip are displayed.
Capture any of the following types of snips:
Free-form snip | Draw a free-form shape around an object. |
Rectangular snip | Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle. |
Window snip | Select a window, such as a dialog box, that you want to capture. |
Full-screen Snip | Capture the entire screen. |
When you capture any of the above snips, it is automatically copied to the Snipping tool window where you make changes save, and share afterward.
